The Operations & Middle Office department sits at the heart of firm’s Core Infrastructure, responsible for firm-wide portfolio valuations, trade processing and trade lifecycle management, as well as driving infrastructure strategy and platform delivery to all portfolio managers and businesses across the firm.
Job Function Summary
The Middle Office Trade Support Specialist will be responsible for accurate and timely Trade Capture (T+0 affirmation/confirmation) of all trades conducted across the APAC region, covering multiple products and asset classes: Futures, Options, FX, Bonds, IRS, Cash Equities, Equity Swaps, and other OTC Derivatives. Close daily interactions with Portfolio Managers as well as external counterparties are expected to ensure accurate Risk/Positions in the Firm’s books and records on a trade date basis. Candidate is also expected to liaise very closely with the wider Middle Office P&L/Valuations and Core Operations team, as well as with Technology, Risk, and Execution Services for timely resolution of daily issues as well as participating in ongoing initiatives to enhance firm’s processes.
Principal Responsibilities
Responsible for monitoring intra-day trading activity of all Fixed Income and Equities instruments. Establish procedures and methods for accurate Trade Capture within the firm on a trade date basis, in conjunction with Risk and Technology.
